I did enjoy going there for my treatment. Dr. Allan Hirsch took over for Dr. Wolfrum while he his license was suspended. I asked for a simple letter that I needed for my attorney because of my case. I was told it would be $300.00! I am fighting for my job, seeking help, and working part time, but they want to charge me $300.00 for a simple letter! Thanks for the caring and the compassion! Then, all the prior visits, I have to sit and speakk with residents, while Dr. Hirsch comes in for 15minutes and changes medications l eft and right and sends me on my way! Really hope he can look at himself everyday in the mirror and say he is truly helping people! Told my attorneys and primary doctor about this. Just appalled! Thanks for nothing, go at your own risk!

I saw Dr. wolfrum for several years with pain management from being an athlete. The medicines he prescribed for me were way too much and I got addicted and made a complete zombie out of me. I tryed to detox of the medicines several times but, was unsuccesful. But it seemed alls he wanted to do is keep prescribing more. I hope he doesn't have the chance to ever do this to anybody else

Dr Hirsch is wonderful and the office staff is very nice, however the office manager is horrendous! So rude and mean to staff and patients. All she is concerned with is getting money from you. She literally told me that if my insurance didnt pay that she would be coming after me! I was mortified when she said this. She has also called me a liar too. I only go there because my son and I love Dr. Hirsch and his secretary El and we feel that he is the best fit for my son. We just hope for the best when we go there.

Ive been seeing Dr Wolfrun for years, and he has always helped me,as long as I really want , also to help myself. Also this is a difficult clientele because many of the patients are drug dependent, and or have cognitive problems. And the office staff,I don't know how they handle it!! I'm there once a month to check in and meet with Dr. Woolfrum, and every time a patient is arguing with the Insurance gals, I know I was one many times!! And even when I was yelling , I knew I was just angry that I had to deal with this stuff in my life. Yes Its inconvient to have , or even to have had a drug problem, because it can make problems the rest of your life. But Behavioral Health Care, and Dr. Wolfrum helped me function and have these inconviences. I called these high class problems compared to other ones I've had. Also Lisa K. helped me so much with my Insurance problems, and she never gets tired helping all day long!! They 'll all caring and helpful if we just stop yelling and calmly ask for help!!! Thanks Lisa K., Adrianna, and Dr. Woolfrum, you all have a Very stressful good ,and thank God for your patience!!!

I read the reviews, I'm glad that I didn't read them before going. My husband and I have been going now for three weeks. They came and got us right on time or even earlier. We found the doctors to be understanding, and caring. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. I only negative thing I would say is it could use a little updating.

DR. WOLFRUM AND THE ENTIRE STAFF AT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ASSOCIATE'S HAVE BEEN LIFE SAVERS FOR AND MY OWN BATTLE WITH DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, AND A COMPLETLY DISABLING FIGHT WITH P.T.S.D.! THEY HAVE A LARGE CLIENT BASE SO BE READY TO WAIT SOMETIME, BUT IT IS WORTH THE WAIT IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF THE BEST POSSIBLE CARE FOR YOU OWN PERSONAL MENTAL HEALTH CARE NEEDS! MARVENE N.

Dr. Wolfrum is a great and very helpful guy once you get to know him. Very knowledgeable and his office has the ability to perform many procedures other psychiatrists can not. See him! He does sometimes/often run late, but he is WELL worth the wait! Give me a chance; he is VERY busy.

I have been going to BHCA for many years. I would go no where else for my healthcare needs. They are always friendly, very personable and most of all they really care about their patients and their needs. Lisa the office manager is AWSOME! Not only has she bent over backwards for my needs. I've heard her deal with other patients and she treats us all with such kindness. She really understands that our problems really are problems and she does anything and everything she can to help us out. It was a great decision to hire Lisa to manage this office. SInce she's been there things run a lot smoother and Dr.'s are running more on time. Thank you BHCA for all you do to help me and my life.

Good Doctors and Therapists Not that good office staff Also call your insurance before taking the piss test on your first visit. They will charge heavily if you're not covered!!! Like over 800 bucks! But if you need medical help its worth dealing with the office to see a good doctor. Doctor G. IS GREAT Des Plaines location is better The office staff in Schaumburg are not that helpful. Maybe they are understaffed? But the des plaines location is better in my opinion.

Dr Wolfram, Dr Shankar, & their awesome PA Susan Russo have all gone out of their ways to help me. Yes, if you see Dr Wolfram, the Wait will be extremely long (2 to 3 hours honestly) that's because he's really the best & everyone wants to see him. I've started working with S. Russo, and am very happy with the care & compassion I've received. She recently became a trained yoga instructor, also. The wait is worth it. If you don't want to wait that long, there are many other doctors & therapists to choose from. I'm very lucky to have found this particular office. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.
